The Bad Hersfeld plant produces high- and low-denier industrial products for customers
in the sewing thread, industrial and automotive industries. The 96,500 square meters
of production space was commissioned in 1966. The site also operates a low-denier
research and development center. Bad Hersfeld received ISO 14001 certification in
2004 and ISO 9001:2000 in 2000.

Performance Fibers’ French facility is located in Longlaville. The 134,500 square
foot plant is situated on nearly 10 acres of land. The plant was commissioned in
1993. Longlaville received ISO 9001 certification in 1994 and ISO 14001 certification
in 2004. In 1995, the yarn and rubber lab was established and a second polymer train
was added in 1996. Products produced in Longlaville include DSP® and
1W78 fibers.

Centrally located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Performance Fibers’ European
headquarters has employees in executive management, customer service, human relations,
accounting, finance and information technology.
Guben is located in Brandenburg near Berlin, on the border of Poland and near the
Czech Republic.
The Guben plant produces high-denier fibers that are used in geotextiles, hose products,
coated fabrics, specialties and other technical fabrics. Commissioned in 1986, the
plant has 2,300 square meters of production space.
In 1993, new equipment was installed for solid state polymerization (SSP). Guben
maintains ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
