Performance Fibers’ Moncure plant produces DSP® fiber; standard, low-shrink and low-denier polyester and adhesive activated fiber.
The 305,000 sq. ft. plant is situated on 420 acres of land. It was commissioned in 1971 and has over
400 employees. New Hill received ISO 9002 certification in 1993 and established pack-out automation in 2004.

Performance Fibers’ French facility is located in
Longlaville, France. The 134,500 sq. ft. plant is situated on nearly 10 acres of land. The plant was commissioned in 1993 and has over 300 employees. Longlaville received ISO 9001 certification in 1994 and ISO 14001 certification in 2004. In 1995, the yarn and rubber lab was established and a second polymer train was added in 1996.
Products produced in Longlaville include DSP® and 1W78 fibers.

Located in the Guangdong Province of China, Performance Fibers (Kaiping) Company Limited plant produces dimensionally stable polyester fibers for tire reinforcement, automotive and other industrial and consumer uses. The company markets these fibers under the trade name DSP® fibers.
The 820,000 sq. ft. plant is situated on over 23 acres of land. The plant was commissioned in 1993 and has 700 employees. In 1999, the plant received ISO 9002 certification and DSP® production began. In October 2005, Performance Fibers acquired full ownership of the Kaiping operations from its joint venture partner.
Construction has begun on a second plant in Kaiping to meet demand from China’s growing automotive tire industry. The company has expanded operations in Asia twice in two years, doubling the HMLS yarn capacity in China with each expansion, and more than doubling the fabric conversion capacity with the second expansion.
